What is Somatic Ritual and Ceremony? During this intimate gathering, we will learn how and why energy in the body gets stuck. The longer we hold on to emotions that no longer serve us, the easier it is for our body to deteriorate and trigger illness. When energy does not have a place to go, we can experience emotional, spiritual and physical symptoms. In this 2 hour workshop, Jenn will teach you various techniques to assist you in moving energy out of your body so that you can begin to flow more freely, gain clarity on a situation, and shift your paradigm. In addition, you can expect to receive a cup of cacao as part of your time with Jenn in a non-ceremonial setting. She will teach you why, when and how to use cacao if that is part of your chosen journey (cacao is optional during this workshop). Who is this for? Anyone who has experienced loss and has yet to find healthy and constructive ways to move forward. Anyone who is ready to dive deeper into their own self-reflection journey. Those seeking to expand their mind-body-spirit-community care toolbox. Individuals who desire to integrate and explore their health and wellness experience. Anyone who is ready to learn how to realistically apply these tools and healing practices into their lives. What is expected of you as a participant? Come with an open mind. Bring a pen and journal to jot down your thoughts. Come in comfortable clothing that you can move in and sit in. By signing up, you agree that you will not share anything personal that is shared by other participants in this workshop. This will be a very intimate space which may trigger emotions for others. You will be expected to be respectful and hold space for others just as this will be done for you. Everything that is shared will be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
